The new owner of T492 HU24 is Robert Willis from Connecticut who says:
"The car is in excellent condition and has logbooks going back to 1989 but not earlier. Gary Roubiner owned the car as early as April 19, 1978. Replacement SCCA logbook was issued to John Lydick on May 20, 1989. Purchased by Brendan Peiffer circa 2000 and purchased by me on October 18, 2007. I believe the car has been in the Detroit, Michigan, USA for most of its life. Logbooks show HU-24 raced in regional SCCA racing as well as historic racing with HSR at Sebring, Elkhart Lake and Watkins Glen."
"I intend to campaign the car primarily in historics with a bit of SCCA club racing throughout the eastern USA. Car is currently red with racing #4."
The Lola Chassis Log shows that HU24 was originally supplied to Carl Haas in February 1978 when it was "Golden Yellow". |
