• Lola have sold 62 LMP cars since Martin Birrane acquired the company in 1997.
• Lola have taken 9 class wins at Le Mans including a famous Le Mans LMP2 triple in 2004 (Intersport) and 2005/2006 with RML.
• Le Mans 2010 sees 5 different configurations of Lola LMP design, 5 different engines powering them, 8 different teams and 30 drivers representing 10 nations racing for Lola!
• The name Lola was derived from the famous 1950’s Broadway musical ‘Damn Yankees’ of which the leading song was ‘Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets’
• 2010 sees the 50th anniversary of Lola competing at Le Mans. The tiny Lola Mk1 of Peter Ashdown and Charles Voegele was actually driven down to the race in 1960!
• During a typical year the rolling road of Lola’s own Windtunnel travels about 180,000km or 112,000miles (halfway to the moon)!!
