Many thanks for your thoughts on wheels and valve covers. They are indeed the tall ones and I had to make a cutout in the engine cover. I saw the pictures of your restoration. What can I say, I thought I am doing a ground up here, but not anymore after I saw the pictures of all the new parts, the new suspension, tub, etc. you're making!
I am a member of the F5000 association, however, perhaps more a passive one, as I am in Switzerland and probably will not ship my cars around the world that quickly. And I am also progressing pretty slowly with my projects, as I am doing this besides my normal job - only a few hours on Saturdays. And then I am rather pedantic too
which of course slows things down sometimes. Currently I am making fuel banjos for the Webers, out of brass and the way I want them.
This is actually my first build up from a bare chassis and a couple of suspension parts. The M10B before was different as it was on its wheels with all components present. Now I see what it takes to build up from scratch - but it is very rewarding and fun!
