Lola T340 Chassis number HU58 is currenly owned by Bob Blanchard.
He tells us: "I raced HU58 T340 FF from 1977 to 1981 in SCCA. I owned the car for many years after. HU58 Car was originally owned by Don Erickson, then his friend Ron Verdoin, briefly by my friend Frank Vella. All Waterford Hills racers. Then me in 1977. I still fit in the original seat and feel very much at home there. This is really a dream come true for me. Here’s a couple more pictures from when I originally raced the car. The car was then lost for along time. I have just recently reacquired the car and have 2 races on it. Will be racing at Road America mid September. Ironically, where we had our last race in 1981 the left rear hub sheared off at The Kink.
