The T164 was a lightened version of the T163, only one chassis (SL164/21) was built and supplied to Carl Haas, it is recognisable by the cut-back rear bodywork. It competed in the two final races of the 1969 Can-Am series where, driven by Chuck Parsons, it took a second and a fifth indicating it had potential but it never raced again until it was restored some twenty-five years later for Historic racing.
N.B. It appears to have been entered as a T163B but it is shown as T164 in the Lola Chassis Log.
