The T88/90 continued the trend of the previous years S2000 Lolas in that the US was the prime market for the design and, in this case it was total, of the fifteen cars built all of them went Stateside.

Comparing the Tech Specs of the new design to that of the T87/90 indicates changes were small, some changes to monocoque material and general tweaking from lessons learned in 1987 seem to be about it.
